Open Outlook Express
If the wizard doesn't open automatically, click on Tools and select Accounts on the menu at the top.
Click on the Mail tab on the Internet Accounts window.
If you do not have anything listed on this page, click on the Add button, and select Mail from the flyout menu.
The follow the wizard to complete the account setup.
1. When you send e-mail, your name will appear in the From field of the outgoing message. Type your name as you would like it to appear.
  
  Simply Type your name in this box and click the Next button.
2. Your e-mail address is the address other people use to send e-mail messages to you.
  
  Type in your full email address and click the Next button.
3. My incoming server is a:
  
  Select "POP3" from the dropdown list.
  
  Incoming mail (POP3, IMAP or HTTP) server:
  
  Type mail.dakota.net in the box.
  
  Outgoing mail (SMTP) server:
  
  Type mail.dakota.net in the box and click the Next button.
4. Type the account name and password your Internet service provider has given you.
  
  For the account name, enter your FULL email address. Enter your password. Leave the SPA box unchecked, and click on the Next button.
Thats it! Click on the Finish button to return to Outlook express.

Now click on the Send/Receive button at the top to retrieve any mail you have on the server!
